In the space of the old cellar the (re)born Os Agostos is the stage of many new happenings,  piano concerts take place every month in this charismatic room announced proudly in this fashion:

The Amigos de Música are happy to announce that a beautiful new concert venue has been found and that concert activities will begin again in September 2014.  The impressive XVIII century estate of “Os Agostos” above Sta. Our hosts in Os Agostos are very busy this year in their “main” business: great weddings with hundreds of people, and yet they are always still generously available to receive the Amigos on two evenings per month and to lavish their attention and welcome on us.  Aren´t those pre-concert receptions on their Grand Terrace very special?  I´d like to take this opportunity to thank Maria and Antonio Farrajota for their hospitality and friendship in all our names. The Associação de Amigos de Música is a Circle of Friends of Music organised on a membership basis with subscriptions going to the organisation of monthly private concerts by internationally renowned musicians.  As a non-profit organisation our activities are also geared at providing sponsorship to young Portuguese musicians*.
